How do I change my Company Name?
A change of company name is usually filed electronically using your unique authentication code. If you do not have access to your unique authentication code, then the change of company name can be filed by paper.
It is really straight forward to change the name of a UK Company.
What do I need to change my company name?
To change the company name by paper, we will require:
• Existing Company Name
• Company Number
• New Company Name
• Signature from Director
• Signed Special Resolution – we will send to you once we are in receipt of your order
How long does it take to change my company name?
If we apply for the company name to be changed by paper, we have 2 services which you are able to choose from.

What will I receive once my company name has been changed?
Once your company name has been changed with Companies House, you will receive an official certificate confirming your new company name.
The certificate of name change, will confirm the following details:
• Previous Company Name
• New Company Name
• Company Number
• Date the Company Name was changed
The original certificate of name change will be sent to you by post.
